The Challenge
At the very beginning
Following several acquisitions, the group needed to introduce its new identity with a digital presence that felt coherent, elegant, and unmistakably luxury.
The task? Design a website that tells a unified story without diluting the distinct voices of each brand.
And do it while respecting one big constraint: each brand would still live on its own website.
So we had to build a narrative container, a flagship site that felt like a single experience not a list of outbound links.
In other words: a showroom with no visible frame.
The Strategy
We approached the project with one core principle in mind: let the design speak, never shout.
The challenge wasn’t just visual, it was structural. We had to present five distinct brands under one roof, without overwhelming the user or flattening their identities. Each had its own site, its own voice. What we needed was a container: elegant and strong enough to hold everything together.
Working side by side with the creative director and the rest of the team, I contributed to the initial concept direction, translating brand values into navigation logic and interaction tone.
From there, I focused on:
Rationalizing the landing experience, giving it a narrative arc rather than a list of links
Designing wireframes to guide structure and flow across devices
Reviewing micro-interactions, ensuring each animation felt intentional and refined
Supporting the evolution of the UI system, making sure form and function worked in harmony
Two paths. Same voice.
Each version tells a different story, but they all lead back to the same core narrative.
The Final Result
The homepage became our stage
The result is a digital space that reflects what Boffi | De Padova stands for: elegance, balance, and timeless design.
A site that doesn't just talk about luxury, it behaves like it.
The layout guides the user without overwhelming, the transitions are fluid, subtle, and deliberate, nothing screams, everything flows.
And even with five distinct brands branching out, the navigation holds together naturally, without ever breaking the narrative.
The project received industry recognition but awards aside, this project marked a turning point for me.
It taught me how to express identity through structure, not just aesthetics and how to build clarity within complexity.
A big thank you to the team at ThinkingAbout for giving me the chance to work on such a rich, layered project and for trusting me before I fully trusted myself. That made all the difference.
